The Series 1300 sliding patio door system is made from
high-quality Fiberlux virgin rigid polyvinyl chloride
extrusions, and features multi-chambered construction for
enhanced strength and durability.
Featuring a fully-welded frame and sliding panel, the Series
1300's virtually air- and water-tight frames are
exceptionally strong and clean in appearance.
And, because the Series 1300 is vinyl, homeowners will never
have to paint, strip, sand or lubricate their door, giving
them years of smooth and trouble-free operation while they
enjoy energy savings, dynamic views and rising home values.
The nominal 4~" vinyl frames include an integral 1¼"
pre-punched nailer fin for fast, weather-tight installation. |
For
replacement or fiat-set applications, the fin is removable
without affecting the door's structural integrity.
Series 1300 sliding glass doors come in a wide range of
standard as well as custom sizes. Colors include white,
almond and terrace brown; and a wood grain interior finish
is also available.

Easy To Use
The Series 1300 sliding glass door system features tandem adjustable roller assemblies for
smooth, long-lasting and trouble-free operation. The attractive wooden handle adds beauty
and convenience, while the combination mortise lock and keeper; inside latch, optional
outside key; secures the door and provides positive anti-lift protection. (Other hardware
packages available.) And, because vinyl is self-lubricating, these doors won't stick or
bind with changes in the weather.
High-performance weather stripping is strategically placed to resist air infiltration
without interfering with the operation of the door. Equal glass sight-lines are not only
open and attractive, but glass replacement is easy should it ever become necessary,
because the equal glass sizes and the outside dual-durometer snap-in glazing bead make
reglazing simple.
Energy Efficient
Unlike metal, vinyl is a natural insulator. It is always comfortable to the touch, no
matter what the season.
Dead-air trapped within the multi-chambered frame and hermetically sealed insulating glass
forms a thermal barrier against outside temperatures. Energy efficiency may be further
enhanced by choosing from Low-E, gas-filled, Super Spacer'" or other available
glazing options.
Wedge-shaped and weather-stripped interlocks seal as the door closes, pulling the sliding
panel and impost together and compressing the weather-strip to enhance strength and
weather-tightness and prevent drafts.
These energy-saving features also work to help keep exterior noises outside, helping
create a quiet, draft-free, energy-efficient and very comfortable home.
